    Responsibilities:
    • Draft communications, memos, reports for distribution to senior management
    • Create PowerPoint presentations for use by senior management
    • Create and maintain Excel Spreadsheets, utilizing advanced features
    • Draft and generate weekly reports
    • Manage Executive calendar
    • Coordinate and book travel arrangements
    • Respond to emails, phone calls, and other correspondence on behalf of senior/executive management
    • Prepare/edit/create documents for leadership and customer distribution
    • Prepare onboarding materials and assist with hiring initiatives
    • Write/edit employment requisitions to kick-off recruiting process

    Required:

    Project Description:
    Dovel Technologies, LLC has an immediate need for a Business Analyst/Documentation Specialist who will work with the project team to ensure high quality delivery of a mission-critical application.
     
    Role and Responsibilities:
    • Assists Lead BA in gathering and documenting system requirements
    • Updates and/or creates project related documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), installation instructions, training materials, test reports, meeting minutes, Visio diagrams, spreadsheets, presentations and other artifacts as necessary.
    • Gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information.
    • Maintains requirements artifacts (including Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)) and requirements change log
    • Creates wireframes to demonstrate understanding of requirements
    • Prepares for and assists with customer demonstrations
    • Prepares and submits weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports
    • Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical users. Ensures consistency, clarity, and quality in and across all types of documentation.
    • Engages in formatting, editing, and quality assurance on own work and the work of others.
    • Authors user guides and other required documentation for system user training.
    • Maintains project artifacts repository in SharePoint
    • Performs occasional system testing

    We have a current opening for a Test Specialist to support a large government contract.  While Dovèl's HQ offices are located in McLean, VA, the Test Specialist can be located anywhere.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Participates in the planning, conduct, and evaluation of software testing for a complex enterprise-level business solution.
    • Works with requirements analysts and other functional specialists to transform use cases and other design artifacts into effective testing strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure that functional and performance requirements are satisfied through all phases of the software development process culminating in a successful acceptance test.
    • Execute pre-designed tests as well as ad-hoc/"freestyle" testing.
    • Track individual test execution progress for effective status reporting.
    •  Participates in the development of test plans, test evaluation reports, and other related documentation.
    • Report software defects and collaborate with developers to assist with issue resolution
    • Performs software testing using automated testing tools, for both unit testing and system integration testing.
    • Supports the system qualification testing and system acceptance testing processes.
    • Under the direction of the team's test and evaluation manager, coordinates testing activities with other members of a large, multidisciplinary project team.

    • Successfully perform manual or automated functional test to verify web-based enterprise software solution, data integrity, security, and overall system usability.

    • Generate test strategies for data integrations and transformations of large data sets.

    The Oracle DBA/Developer is primarily responsible for development and installation of all Oracle-related database and data structures, components, and services for a mission critical Oracle Fusion Middleware-based application.     We are seeking a Senior High-Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer for our FDA Scientific program.  The program supports the FDA and their scientists in Scientific Computing which includes but is not limited to technical and research aspects (e.g., hardware, software, laboratory environment) supporting the Center for Food Safety and Nutrition (CFSAN). Responsibilities include leading and directing the employees supporting the HPC Engineering directives, ensuring that work is delivered with quality and is on time with proper documentation.     CFSAN Scientific Computing provides support to the scientific computing community to numerous FDA centers.  The support extends from workstation support to standing up an HPC within the FDA Scientific Data Center.

    We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join the FDA Scientific Computing team, supporting the OIM Center in Reston, VA. 
     
    The QA Manager is responsible for providing clear leadership for shaping our QA efforts. This role will partner with and analysis our customer’s needs, and also be a hands-on independent contributor. The ability to refine requirements and direction with clarification questions is imperative. This role will have strong interactions with the infrastructure team and project stakeholders to establish seamless processes that promote program surveillance and quality audit.
     
    The duties will include, but not be limited to:
    • Drive planning & delivery of high-quality enterprise IT software releases.
    • Manage to plan completion of QA for each release.
    • Review project and release specific test strategy and planning documents prepared by QA team.
    • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
    • Maintain and enhance working automation framework.
    • Create complex automated testing applications, procedures and guidelines.
    • Develop, document and revise automation test procedures and quality standards.

    We are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer for our FDA Scientific Computing program. We support the FDA and their scientists in Scientific Computing which includes but is not limited to; technical and research aspects (e.g., hardware, software, desktop support, infrastructure, virtualization all in a laboratory environment) supporting a variety of FDA Centers.

    The Senior Linux Systems Engineer will work in conjunction with the rest of the Engineering team in support of the overall FDA program, with specifics emphasis on the HPC implementation.  
     
    The duties will include, but not be limited to:
    • Exploring new technologies to improve efficiency and maximize performance
    • Experience working within a HPC environment, using Puppet for configuration and Set-up.
    • Establishing operations policies and procedures for production Installing, configuring, and maintaining production systems and applications
    • Building and tools, scripts, and operating procedures for continuous efficiency improvement
    • Fault detection, isolation, resolution, and root cause analysis
    • Deploying new releases and patches to test and production environments

    Required Qualifications:

    We have a current opening for a Mid Level Tester supporting a large government contract in McLean, VA. The Mid Level Tester is primarily responsible for developing and executing test plans and scripts and reporting results for a mission critical Oracle Fusion Middleware-based application.
    Required:  
    • 5-7 years of experience in software testing projects
    • Experience testing COTS software projects
    • Demonstrable experience developing and executing test plans and test scripts
    • Experience authoring test management documentation (test plans, test scripts, test procedures, scenarios, defect management reports, etc.)
    • Experience with automated tools, including Selenium and HP ALM Suite
    • Experience ensuring all software and documentation are in compliance with customer standards
    • Must be self-starter and able to work independently and within a team
    • Strong written and oral communications skills; must be comfortable operating and testing complicated systems and be able to understand and document technical concepts; and must be flexible and able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks
    • 508 Testing experience, including JAWS
    • Experience with regression, smoke, system integration, and ad-hoc testing
    • Experience with leading User Acceptance Testing, including all necessary documentation
    • Keen attention to details and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
    • Eligible for public trust security clearance

    • Experience with performing quality control activities
    • UI/UX experience
    • Performance testing experience
    • Experience testing Oracle Fusion Middleware implementations

    We have a current opening for a mid-level ADF Developer supporting a large government contract in McLean, VA.   Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform application development, design and support
    • Understand and apply development design patterns and disciplines. 
    • Understand and apply quality techniques and practices (automated unit testing, Test Driven Design/Development, performance analysis, continuous integration)
    • Document, unit test, peer reviews and defect remediation.
    • Self-starter, quick learner and has a track record of working on more than one Oracle Fusion Middleware stack project including Oracle ADF framework.
    • Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of ADF Framework.
    • Solid verbal and communication skills
    • Good team player, problem solving skills and take initiative,
    • Assist functional, integration and performance testing.
    • Assist PM and technical lead with development task estimates.
    Minimum Qualifications:   Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an associated discipline and 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.     Required:
    • A minimum of 7+ years of application development experience and 4+ years ADF/Jdeveloper.
    • Experience with ADF 11g or higher version.
    • Must have solid understanding and development experience of Enterprise Application.
    • Must have experience developing application using security design principle.
    • Must have solid experience with JAVA and any of MVC framework. (JSF, Spring, Struts etc.)
    • Must have experience with Database modeling and design.
    • Must have experience with performance tuning of system and application.
    • Must have experience with Weblogic 11g or higher.
    • Must have experience and understanding of build and deployment process of Enterprise application.
    • The ability to work with requirements team and translate business requirement into technical solution.
    • Oracle 11g /Application Server / Fusion Middleware XMLWeb Services and Operating Systems (Linux and Windows).
    • Eligible for public trust security clearance
     
    Highly Desirable:
    • Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware stack to include: Webcenter Portal, UCM (Webcenter Content), SOA/BPM, OBIEE,  BPEL, GoldenGate
    • Oracle IDM Suite: Experience developing secure application using OIM, OAM, OUD and OIF.
    • Experience with Business Object development.
